Cookie policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar techniques ETIntell uses on etintell.eu, what they are for and how you manage your choice. How ETIntell handles personal data is set out in theprivacy statement.

1. What are cookies and similar techniques?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device. There are also similar techniques that do not use a cookie but still store something in your browser, such as your browser's local storage. In this policy, both are meant wherever cookies are mentioned.

2. What ETIntell places

Necessary - no consent required

WhatWhat forWhere it is storedHow long
Your cookie choiceRemembers whether you accepted or declined the non-essential cookies, so that you do not get the banner on every visitYour own browser's local storage; this is not a cookie and is not sent to ETIntellUntil you clear it yourself through your browser settings
Your audience preferenceRemembers whether you view the pricing and sign-up pages as a bidder or as a contracting authorityYour own browser's local storageUntil you clear it yourself
Cloudflare TurnstileChecks, when you fill in a form, whether the submission comes from a human and not from a script. It does not track behaviour across other websitesCookies on the domain challenges.cloudflare.com (cf_chl_*), placed as soon as you fill in a form. The website etintell.eu itself does not place a cookie for thisShort-lived: they belong to that single check. Cloudflare does not publish a fixed period for these check cookies

Visitor count without a cookie - no consent required

WhatWhat forWhere it is storedHow long
Cloudflare Web AnalyticsCounts how many pages are viewed and from which country, so that we know how busy the site is. This count sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not recognise your device - not between two visits and not across websitesA script from static.cloudflareinsights.com that sends the count to Cloudflare. Nothing is stored on etintell.eu or in your browserNot applicable: nothing that belongs to you is retained

Because this count stores nothing and reads nothing, it falls outside the consent rule and therefore also continues if you decline the banner. We use it alongside Google Analytics for one reason: Google Analytics only measures visitors who give consent, and that number is not a visitor count.

Analytical - only with your consent

WhatWhat forWhere it is storedHow long
Google Analytics (GA4)Insight into how many visitors the site has, which pages are read and where visitors come from, so that we can improve the siteThe cookies _ga and _ga_<measurement id>, placed on etintell.eu13 months

If you do not give consent, no measurement takes place. ETIntell does not include any name, e-mail address or organisation in this measurement. When you submit a form, we only measure whether the submission succeeded or failed, and which form it concerned.

The data collected through Google Analytics is retained there for 14 months. That period makes it possible to compare a month with the same month a year earlier; after that, the underlying data expires.

Marketing - one page, only with your consent

SalesflareOn the landing page behind a link in our e-mail campaign, a tracking script of Salesflare, our relationship management system, is used. It records that a known contact visited that page, so that we know whether a campaign landsThe script is loaded from track.salesflare.com; the recognition itself is stored on etintell.eu, in an sf_... cookie and in your browser's local storage. Only on /whitepaper-prebid-forecast-accountstrategie/ and on no other pageThe cookie: 400 days. The copy in local storage has no expiry date and remains until you clear the stored data for etintell.eu

ETIntell does not use advertising cookies, does not show advertisements and does not share or sell your data to advertising networks.

3. Making and changing your choice

On your first visit, a banner appears in which you can accept or decline the non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your own browser and applies to subsequent visits.

You can undo your choice at any time by clearing the stored data for etintell.eu in your browser. The banner will then appear again. Clearing also removes the other items in the table above that are stored on etintell.eu, including the recognition on the campaign page. You can also block or delete cookies in general through your browser settings.

If you block all cookies and storage, the website will still work, but some preferences cannot be remembered and you will get the cookie banner on every visit.

What your choice does not affect is the visitor count without a cookie from chapter 2. It keeps running, because nothing that belongs to you is stored or read.

4. The application behind the login

This policy concerns the website etintell.eu. In the ETIntell application, which you reach only after logging in, necessary cookies and tokens are also used to maintain your session and secure your account. Without that technique you cannot stay logged in.

5. Third parties

The parties named above place the cookies mentioned themselves. In addition, ETIntell uses hosting and cloud services that are technically necessary to display and secure the site; these do not place cookies to track your behaviour.

6. Changes to this cookie policy

ETIntell may change this policy, for example when a service is added or removed. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
